7 reflections
life is not something to be optimized, but rather to be lived, deeply felt, and absorbed.
you don’t need to be in love with someone or with friends to experience the best version of life.
acceptance is a superpower: not everything in life can be changed, and that’s ok (i.e. neurodivergence).
we all have deeply rooted self-limiting beliefs; it’s important that you find them, give them language, and move past them.
too often i try to quiet my busy mind and fight overstimulation with more stimulation: it’s important to be more intentional about screens, consumption, and boredom.
life is full of nuance! embrace the tension, sit in the cognitive dissonance, and let it be. not everything is a problem to be solved.
don’t take life so seriously: sometimes we get caught up in our mind, our body gets tense, and we are long overdue to let it all go.
8 promises
i am going to eat foods that make me feel good & move my body in ways that i love.
i am going to create way more than i consume, specifically:
writing
creating music
sharing thoughts online
i am going to learn something new every day & go deep into the things i’m outrageously curious about,
i am going to spend money on the things that matter and stop wasting money on the things that don’t,
i am going to do work that i find fulfilling and rooted in my principles (this takes time to understand),
i am going to love others and listen deeply with my whole heart (tip: ground yourself in presence).
i am going to approach people with vulnerability, curiosity, a lack of judgement, and openness.
i am going to align my body (energy), gut (intuition), heart (authenticity), mind (sense), and hands (action).
